Oehlbach is a traditional company that was founded in Germany more than 50 years ago and has been setting standards in cable quality ever since.

The success story began in 1974, when Manfred Oehlbach and his wife Gabriele realized their vision on a small, tranquil farm in the beautiful Baden countryside - with three high-quality loudspeaker cables in cross-sections of 1.5 mm², 2 mm² and 4 mm². Just ten years later, Oehlbach Kabel GmbH was officially founded and from 1985 established itself as a premium supplier of technically sophisticated cables and accessories in the electrical and multimedia sector. 

After 35 years of dedicated management, Manfred Oehlbach took a well-deserved retirement in 2010. The success story continued with the handover to Frank Decker, the second managing director in the company's history. Under Decker's leadership, the principles of high quality and innovation - recognizing market needs and consistently implementing high-quality, innovative product solutions - remain the foundation of the company's philosophy. 

To this day, Manfred Oehlbach's mission statement reminds us that excellent products can only be created if they meet the highest quality standards. In this way, Oehlbach Kabel GmbH combines its traditional past with forward-looking innovation in order to always offer its customers the best possible product solutions.

About Oehlbach

Our company has two central locations, each of which plays an important role in our daily business. Our head office is located in beautiful Pulheim, which is home to our dedicated employees and our office dog Willi.

 Our logistics location is around 25 km west of Nuremberg, in the picturesque town of Langenzenn in central Franconia. Not only are the warehouse and dispatch areas located there, but also the customized cable production and our comprehensive customer service. These strategically distributed locations enable us to guarantee the highest quality and fast service.

 Oehlbach is a global player with international reach, exporting products to 30 countries worldwide, including Australia, Vietnam and Taiwan. In addition to its international presence, the company has a direct distribution network in Austria and Italy.

 Oehlbach is also well represented at a national level, supplying over 750 specialist stores across Germany with its products, demonstrating both its global and national market strength.

 In its 2002 product catalog, Oehlbach was already setting standards for the best picture and sound quality with high-quality gaming cables. While others were still relying on standard connections, our specially developed cables for the PlayStation 2 were already providing a razor-sharp picture and rich sound - a decisive advantage for anyone who wanted to experience every detail.

Today, Oehlbach remains true to this tradition and develops gaming cables that deliver uncompromising quality - for modern consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Swtich or high-end PCs.
